🏀 FIRST JH GAME OF THE SEASON! What a great start to the season for our Lady Lions! 🦁❤️ They came out victorious against the Stoutland Lady Tigers with a 19–12 win! 🎉 The Lions battled hard but fell to the Stoutland Tigers 55–18.

🔎🧪 STEM Exploration in 1st Grade! 🧪🔎 This year, we are excited to offer STEM as one of our elementary special classes! Today, our 1st graders got to put their curiosity and exploration skills to work as they dug through a sand-and-dirt mixture searching for shells, crystals, fossils, and more! 🐚💎🦴

🔥🧪 Learning Through Hands-On Science! Our students are learning about cutting, bending, and drawing glass tubing—valuable skills for working with laboratory glassware. They are also exploring fire polishing and how heat can be used to shape and smooth glass. Hands-on learning brings science to life! 🔬✨

🔥🥎 LADY LIONS WIN! 🥎🔥 It was a great night at Marshall Field as the Lady Lions hosted the Pilot Grove Lady Tigers! The Lady Lions came out ready to play and took control of the game right from the start. 💪🦁 The final score: Lady Lions 15 – Pilot Grove 5!

🧋 We had a special treat today from Mrs. Turba’s sister, Allison! She brought our staff some delicious drinks from Scooter’s. 🥤🍵 Thank you so much, Allison, for treating our staff and making our day a little sweeter! We appreciate you! ❤️🦁

Kindergarten started their first character lesson of the year! ❤️ They learned about how to “fill their buckets” and, most importantly, how to fill the buckets of their friends through kindness, encouragement, and caring for others. 🪣😊

COMC will be at Miller County R-III School District on September 8–9 with their Mobile Dental Unit. If you would like your child to be seen by the Mobile Dental Unit, please complete the form and return it to the school by Wednesday, September 2.

The Miller County R-III School District is accepting sealed bids for a 2019 Buick Encore. Good condition, 79,XXX miles. Bids should have the bidders name, address, phone number, and bid amount in a sealed envelope and be delivered to Central Office, 526 School Road, Tuscumbia, MO 65082, by 3:00 p.m. on September 15th. To view the vehicle in person or deliver a bid, please come by the school during business hours, M-F.
