🏀 Youth Basketball Forms Coming Monday! 🏀 Youth basketball forms will be coming home on Monday. We have a fast deadline, so please be sure to look for the form, complete it, and return it as soon as possible.

The Miller County R-III School District is searching for a certified K-12 special education teacher to provide virtual homebound services for a student. This position will be contracted for an hourly rate, with a minimum of 5 hours per week, and it can be done from home. A reminder that the school's entire front parking lot is closed through Sunday for repairs. The building office is open today until 3:00, so if you need to come in the building, please park in back and use the cafeteria doors.

❤️🦁 What a night! 🦁❤️ It was a packed house at school this evening, and it was so wonderful to see our students and their families back in the building! There were so many smiles, laughs, and hugs—exactly what I’ve been missing! 🥰 A huge thank you to the Betterment Committee for organizing our Back-to-School Fair and to Tuscumbia First Assembly of God Church for providing the ice cream from Roscoe's. And, of course, thank you to all of our amazing teachers and staff members who worked hard to make tonight a success. You can also visit the high school library to learn more about the renovations. 📸 Photo Opportunity: Stop by our photo backdrop and snap a picture to celebrate the start of a new school year! 👕 Booster Club: Stop by and check out the shirts available for purchase! ✏️ School Supplies: School supplies are available in the cafeteria. 🚌 Bus Drivers: Our bus drivers will be available by the office. 🏫 Elementary Students: Elementary students can go directly to their classrooms. 📋 Middle & High School Students: Pick up your schedules in front of the office. 💻 Online Registration: Online registration is open and available for families who still need to complete it. 💰 Lunch Bills & Fees: The office will be open for anyone needing to pay lunch bills or school fees. Last day of PD was a success! 📚✨ Our teachers are busy finalizing their classrooms and getting everything ready for Open House and the Back-to-School Fair. 🏫❤️ And of course, we wrapped up the day with a delicious lunch from Leonor! Thank you for helping make our final PD day extra special! 🍽️😊

You can never go wrong with food for our staff! ☕🍕 A big thank you to Ryan and Courtney for coming to our staff meeting yesterday morning with hot and iced coffee, along with a few sweet treats! Then lunch was provided by our Booster Club, and everyone always enjoys pizza! 🍕 It was a great day to connect with our staff, show our appreciation, and enjoy some time together as we prepare for a new school year. We appreciate everyone who helps make our school a great place to be! 🦁❤️🖤

Our teachers are hard at work preparing for the new school year! 📚🦁 They are reviewing and updating handbook changes, going over important school policies, implementing our PBIS program, and getting their classrooms ready for a successful year. Missouri FFA Food Insecurity Day and Drive to Feed Kids. Our members spent the day working hard to package meals for children and families in need. Together, we helped package nearly 180,000 meals, all while working toward an incredible goal of 250,000 meals by the end of the day!🙌

Practice for JH basketball, grades 6-8, begins tomorrow. The first week of pracitce, times will be Monday-Thursday 3:30-5:30 pm, Friday 7:30-9:30 am and Sunday 2-4 pm. Students must have a physical and new basketball shoes that have not been worn outside.
