The Lions battled through an intense matchup against Columbia Independent. After a slow first quarter, they clawed their way back and made it a tight contest, but just couldn’t take the lead. Columbia Independent edged out the win, 62–58. 🦁🏀

The Lady Lions powered through snow mode to pick up a big 44–13 win over Columbia Independent! ❄️🦁 Way to stay focused and get it done! 💪🏀

🏀Basketball Game Day🏀

The HS Basketball teams travel to Columbia Independent tonight! The girls start the night off at 6:00pm with the boys to follow.

We will NOT be using Monday, February 2nd, as a makeup day for yesterday--school will not be in session that day, but teachers will report for PD. We will use Monday, February 16th, for our first makeup day, so school WILL be in session on 2/16/26.

4th and 5th grade Archery practice has been cancelled for today and Thursday.

Tuscumbia will have a 2-hour late start on Tuesday, 1/27. School will start at 10:00 a.m. Buses will run 2 hours later than their usual time. Breakfast will not be served. We will dismiss at our usual time.

🎨 Hands-on learning! Last week, 4th grade students were busy creating Clay Pinch Pot Creatures projects in class.

Congratulations to the Lions on their 3rd place win at the Iberia Tournament! 🦁 The Lions took down Sullivan with a 67–49 victory. Great game, boys!

Vet Science students are hard at work, getting hands-on practice before their next contest! 🐾🩺

PLEASE make sure your students are dressed warmly when they leave the house tomorrow! With negative wind chills expected, we won't be going outside, but our bus heaters work overtime during this cold weather, and we don't want cold students if we were to have a breakdown. If your student needs a coat, please contact the building office and let us know, and we will take care of it.

The HS Boys basketball 3rd place game tomorrow in the Iberia Tournament will be played at 5:30pm. There is a game at 4:00pm and they will start the game early if possible.
