Today we celebrated Reading Across America with a special visit from Cat in the Hat! Elementary students gathered for an assembly where high school students read Dr. Seuss books to them. It was wonderful to see our older students sharing their love of reading with the younger ones.
After the assembly, elementary classes returned to their rooms to enjoy crafts and a snack while continuing the fun.
Thank you to everyone who helped organize and support this great event. Our students had a fantastic time celebrating reading together! 📚🎩🐾
Don’t forget to come by the gym at 5pm to attend the Title I activity and parent meeting tonight! Our community volunteer readers will be here to read Dr. Seuss books with your child. Bring your child by and see how excited they are to read with our volunteers! 📚🎉. Of course we will have goldfish snacks, for 1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. 🎏
Grade cards will be available for pickup during Parent/Teacher Conferences this evening. Kindergarten–4th grade teachers will have their classroom grade cards available. Students in grades 5–12 will need to pick up their grade cards from the office.
The office will be open until 7:00 PM if you need to pay lunch bills, library fees or turn in documentation for any unexcused absences.
We hope everyone enjoys Spring Break and takes time to rest and relax! ☀️

It’s time for March Madness here at school! 🏀➕ The fourth grade class has been working hard on their March Madness math facts. Students are practicing their math skills and competing to see who can advance through the bracket. Keep up the great work, fourth grade! 📚👏
The fifth grade class has been working on research projects in the library 📚. Each student was assigned a famous person to research. They gathered information about their early life, family, important events in their life, obstacles they had to overcome, and some fun facts ⭐. Students also created a timeline highlighting key moments in their person’s life 🕰️.
They did a great job learning, researching, and presenting their work! 👏📖
Several of our junior high and high school students attended the Show-Me Central Conference Math Contest. They did an amazing job in our first year attending, and we are so proud of them!

📚Title I Reading Night & Parent Meeting (K–8 Families).
We will be hosting a Title I Reading Night with our Community Reading Volunteers from 5:00-5:30 pm and a Parent Meeting at 5:30 . Everyone is encouraged to join.
🐾Sophomore Parent and Student Meeting. This meeting is to discuss the students' options of attending ECC or taking Dual Credit classes for their junior and senior years.
