Archery season has begun! We are excited to see these archers in action!




It's still deer season! You have time to send in a picture with you and your deer. We are getting some great pictures.

Lady Lions traveled to Dixon tonight for the basketball jamboree, and they showed incredible toughness and grit!
This team is ready to compete, and it’s shaping up to be a fun and exciting season.

The boys won every quarter at the Crocker Jamboree tonight! They are going to be so much fun to watch this year--come out Friday night for our first home game. Go Lions!






4th-12th grade Archery practice starts tomorrow, (Tuesday, November 18) afterschool. Parent and student archer meeting after practice at 5pm. Please meet in the cafeteria.

The 8th grade class attended the Eldon Career Center Focus on the Future event. They were able to experience what ECC programs is all about. They had a great time!








*Correction*
The High School basketball teams will start their seasons off next week with both teams playing in a jamboree on Monday November 17th. The boys team will be at Crocker and the girls team will be at Dixon.
The first game is a HOME game on Friday November 21st vs Climax Springs. There will be a girls/boys game that night.
Attached are the schedules for both teams this year.

The Archery Program will be offered this year to 4th-12th grade students. The students in 4th-6th grade should have brought home an archery letter yesterday. 7th-12th grade students who are interested in archery will be bringing home the letter today. Both letters are attached for your reference. We will see you Tuesday at 5pm for the Parent/Archer meeting in cafeteria.

We were honored to host our Veterans Day celebration this afternoon and had a wonderful turnout. We are deeply grateful for the service and sacrifices of all our veterans — because of you, we are able to live in the land of the free.

Veterans Day Assembly is today, November 11th. We will serve desert and coffee at 1:30 pm and start the assembly at 2pm. Both events will be held in the gym, please enter through the gym lobby doors.

Miller County R-III Parents as Teachers paired up with Heartland Regional Library to provide turkey disguises before the Thanksgiving holidays. Everyone had so much fun!

The Miller County R-III School District has an immediate opening in transportation--NO CDL REQUIRED. A driver is needed for one of the school vehicles to transport special needs students. The route will depend upon whether you would like to work part-time or full-time. $15/hour, including wait time. Fingerprint background check and clean driving record required. The HS girls basketball team will be traveling to Dixon for the Dixon jamboree on November 17th. The games played will be 3-8 minute quarters.
Admission into the games will $4 for adults and $2 for students.
