🎉 Ribbon Cutting Success! 🦁 Our ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating our gym renovations was a huge success! The refurbished floor is absolutely eye-catching, along with our new scoreboards, sound system, and so much more. It is truly beautiful! A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing community for making these improvements possible. We appreciate your continued support of our students and school more than you know! ❤️🖤 Lions Pride! 🦁

🦁 PD Day is in the books! Our teachers spent the day learning TeacherEase, preparing for our new PBIS system, and working on curriculum with our StepUp consultants. A huge THANK YOU to Central Bank for breakfast, Steve for the delicious pulled pork loin, and Mark, Becky & Kathy for all the amazing sides for lunch! ❤️🖤 We’re ready for a great school year! 🦁📚

Just a reminder--join us tonight at 7:00 p.m. as we open the gym to the public and show off the renovations! If you can bring a Gatorade donation, our sports teams will appreciate it, but come join us regardless. Enter through the gym lobby doors. We'll be introducing our high school basketball teams and letting them try out the newly refinished floor for the first time--you won't want to miss it! Hope to see you there.

Good morning! ONLINE REGISTRATION is still open! We have chrombooks set up at school if you need assistant, we are available to help, today from 8-3, Tuesday from 8-7! Every student must be registered prior to the first day of school. We have 5 computer tables in good shape and 4 large folding tables--tops are a little rough, and they are heavy--free to whomever wants to come pick them up. They are beside the cafeteria door in the back parking lot. We will not hold them--if you want them, just come load them up. We need them gone by the end of the day Thursday.

Practice for both softball and baseball begin tomorrow. Softball from 5:30-7:30, baseball from 7:00-9:00.

Attention 9-12 boys and girls basketball players: We want you to be the first to showcase our gym renovation! Please bring your gym shoes and be ready to try out the newly refinished floor next Tuesday, August 11th, at 7:00 p.m. We will introduce you as part of our ribbon cutting ceremony, and you will have some time on the floor to run some drills and shoot around. Please plan to be there!

📚 Yearbook Pickup Reminder! 📚 If you ordered a 2025–2026 yearbook, you can pick it up during Open House on Thursday, August 20, from 5:30–7:30 PM in Mr. Visser's room. Didn't order one? No problem! We have a limited number of extra yearbooks available for $30 on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to seeing you at Open House! 🦁

When you access their accounts, please check your students' meal balances and deposit funds if needed. You may pay using the app or TeacherEase website with a credit or debit card for a small fee, or bring a check or cash to the building office. You may also complete a free/reduced meal application online, and you will receive an email letting you know if you qualify.

Next week, we will be available for you to come in for assistance with registration.

Fall softball and baseball will begin practice Monday Aug 10th. Softball will practice from 5:30-7:30, baseball will practice 7:00-9:00, JH (6th-8th grade) will begin practice Monday Aug 17th. The 1st week JH will practice Monday -Thursday 3:30-5:30, Friday 7:30am-9:30 am and Sunday 2:00-4:00. The 2nd week they will pracitce Monday-Friday 3:30-5:30 and Saturday/Sunday will be announced that week.
