Yesterday we were busy learning all about next year’s Kindergarten class! The screening included several stations that allowed students to show off their skills. We can’t wait to see them all day long next year — our newest Lion cuties! 🦁📚✨

Our 5th grade science students have been learning about Earth’s patterns and movements, including shadows, day and night, moon phases, and seasonal changes. They are now working in groups to create posters and share their learning with their classmates. 🌎🔍

📝Sophomore Parent and Student Meeting. This meeting is to discuss the students' options of attending ECC or taking Dual Credit classes for their junior and senior years.

📚Title I Reading Night & Parent Meeting (K–8 Families). We will be hosting a Title I Reading Night with our Community Reading Volunteers from 5:00-5:30 pm and a Parent Meeting at 5:30 . Everyone is encouraged to join.

Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, March 12, from 1:00–7:00 PM.You’ll need to sign up in advance to schedule an appointment with your child’s teacher. Our 4th grade students recently wrote an informational piece about animals, and they did a fantastic job! We are so proud of the effort, creativity, and growth they showed in their writing. Way to go, 4th grade! 🦁📚

Next week we will be celebrating Reading Across America Week as we learn all about Dr. Seuss and his love of reading! Students will enjoy several fun activities throughout the week, including special story times, themed lessons, and creative classroom projects inspired by Dr. Seuss books. We will also have exciting dress-up days to help bring our favorite stories and characters to life. We can’t wait to see everyone participate and celebrate the joy of reading. It’s going to be a fun and memorable week! 📚🎉
