Thank you to Carey Edwards of Thermal Mechanics, Inc. for the donation of a new work table for our ag program! This is the 2nd donation he has provided us with. Last year he donated a work table to the greenhouse. TMI also took care of the grant process that provided us full funding to put clean air systems on all of our HVAC units using a local company. We appreciate Carey and TMI for investing in our school and community.

Absolute last call! If you plan for your 6th through 8th grader to play GIRLS basketball, we must hear from you by 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Please EMAIL Coach Hayes at gahayes@tuscumbialions.k12.mo.us and let him know that your student wants to participate. If we have enough girls, practices will be from 5:00-6:30 this week. We will let parents know tomorrow if we will be able to have a team.

There will be parent/student meetings with the coaches for anyone interested in playing middle school basketball, grades 6-8. Girls will meet in the EIR room with Coach Hayes, and boys will meet in the gym with Coach Hall from 6:00-6:30 at Open House, Thursday, August 15.
We've had a couple of changes/clarifications I need to make for Open House.
The Health Department will have someone here that night, but they will not be giving immunizations at the school; however, they are staying open until 7:00 p.m. that night to give immunizations at the Health Department.
Also, we will not be able to offer physicals that night due to scheduling conflicts. We will try to set another date for that.
We start early registration tomorrow, so avoid the rush!
Wednesday, August 7: K-4
Thursday, August 8: 5-8
Friday, August 9: 9-12
Building hours will be 7:30-5:00 on these days. If you have multiple students, you can register all of them on one date, and if you can't come on the day designated for your student's grade, come on one of the other days.
We will also have some free gently used books for elementary-age students, so take a few minutes to browse and pick some up for your student! They will be on display in the hallway in front of the office.
