We are going to attempt one more time to salvage part of our girls' softball season. There will be a practice on Monday, 8/21/23, after school at the ball field. If at least 9 players show up who are committed to playing softball this season, we will put in a request to MSHSAA to reinstate the team and get back on other schools' schedules. However, we cannot play any games until we can put 9 players on the field who have been to at least 14 practices, so we will not be able to play until that requirement is met. If we fall below 9 players at any point during the season, the remainder of the season will have to be cancelled. If you are interested in playing softball, you need to be there on Monday ready to practice!

If you have a student entering kindergarten this year, join us for pizza on the playground tonight at 6:00 for a meet and greet with other parents and students. Hope to see you there!
Our Open House, Back-to-School Fair, and Extracurricular Fair will be one big event this year. Join us on Thursday, August 17, from 5:30-7:00, with a presentation for K-6 parents in classrooms beginning at 6:00 on the new math series. Community Betterment will have free basic school supplies, and there will be free athletic physicals. We look forward to seeing you there!
Don't forget the parent meeting for athletics is today at 4:00 in the cafeteria. Please use the back entrance--we're still working on the front hallway. See you there!
We still have positions available for this school year--come join the Lion Pride! We need a driver with a good driving record--no CDL required--not a bus driver position. This is a full-time position with retirement and insurance, 8 hours/day, $13/hour (3 hours of driving, 5 hours of wait time). This would be a great job for someone who has online college classes.
