The Lady Lions and Lions are in the Otterville Holiday Classic this week! The Lady Lions kick off the tournament tonight at 7:00pm taking on Hermitage.

The girls will play again on Wednesday and Saturday, times for those games are TBD.

It was a game with plenty of fouls on both sides, but the Lions stayed focused and finished strong, defeating the Richland Bears 68–55. Way to stay locked in and get the win! 🦁🏀

Our 3rd graders had an exciting learning experience yesterday as they learned all about the heart from our older students! They even had the opportunity to see a real pig heart—hands-on learning at its best.

October Pillar of Pride recognition was for Responsibility, the ability to be accountable for what you do, for your actions and behavior. Congratulations to our October nominees.

The December regular meeting of the MCR3 Board of Education is being rescheduled to Thursday, 12/18, at 6:00 p.m. in the HS library.

The Lions will be traveling to Richland to take on the Bears tonight starting at 6:00pm. There will be one varsity only game.

A tough night at Newburg, but the Lady Lions never stopped fighting. Shots were flying on both sides, but the scoreboard didn’t land in our favor—83-60. These girls play with heart, and we’ll be ready for the next one!

The Lady Lions hit the road tonight to take on the Newburg Lady Wolves starting at 6:00pm. There will be one game tonight and you can watch it live on Hudl fan. Here is the link for the game tonight.

We were sprinkled with a little North Pole magic tonight! ❄️✨ Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by, filling the gym with cheer, sparkle, and endless smiles. Thank you, Santa and Mrs. Claus, for warming our hearts and making this night truly merry and bright! 🎅🤶🎄✨

🎶 Amazing Musical Performance! Our Kindergarten–8th grade music classes put on an unforgettable show tonight. Our students sang their hearts out, jingled bells all the way, and even hula-hooped with toy airplanes! A huge thank you to Mrs. Torey Rush for creating such a magical night for our families and for bringing the joy of music to life. 🎶✨

We had a fire alarm go off this morning around 9:00 am. It was a false alarm. Everyone is safe, and there is no emergency.

The HS girls and boys basketball teams will be competing in the Otterville Holiday Classic next week. The girls will play on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The boys will play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Attached is a picture of the bracket for both teams. The girls are on top of the bracket and the boys are on the bottom. The Lady Lions got the #2 seed and will face off against the #7 seed Hermitage Lady Hornets on Monday 12/15 at 7:00pm. The Lions got the #4 seed and will face off against the host #5 seed Otterville Eagles on Tuesday 12/16 at 5:30pm. Good luck to both teams next week in the tournament! 🦁🏀

NHS will be selling Candy Grams. All students have been given a form if they would like to make a purchase. Please send them filled out with money attached to their homeroom teacher. All orders are due by December 16.
