There will be parent/student meetings with the coaches for anyone interested in playing middle school basketball, grades 6-8. Girls will meet in the EIR room with Coach Hayes, and boys will meet in the gym with Coach Hall from 6:00-6:30 at Open House, Thursday, August 15.

We've had a couple of changes/clarifications I need to make for Open House.
The Health Department will have someone here that night, but they will not be giving immunizations at the school; however, they are staying open until 7:00 p.m. that night to give immunizations at the Health Department.
Also, we will not be able to offer physicals that night due to scheduling conflicts. We will try to set another date for that.

We start early registration tomorrow, so avoid the rush!
Wednesday, August 7: K-4
Thursday, August 8: 5-8
Friday, August 9: 9-12
Building hours will be 7:30-5:00 on these days. If you have multiple students, you can register all of them on one date, and if you can't come on the day designated for your student's grade, come on one of the other days.
We will also have some free gently used books for elementary-age students, so take a few minutes to browse and pick some up for your student! They will be on display in the hallway in front of the office.

Check out the Lion's Link for important information about the beginning of school and see some of the improvements that students can look forward to in the upcoming school year:

Meet Mr. Jonathan Hall, our new PE/Health teacher, MS head boys basketball coach, and assistant HS boys coach!

There will be a meeting for high school baseball players and parents at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow (Monday, 7/29) in the cafeteria. Please attend if you plan to play.

If you have a student going into kindergarten, 8th, or 12th grade and you haven't had their required immunizations yet, see the attached flyer. The Miller County Health Department will have them available all day on August 15th--take advantage of this opportunity!

We will be doing early registration again this year--avoid the rush! The dates will be:
K-4 students: Wednesday, August 7
5-8 students: Thursday, August 8
9-12 students: Friday, August 9
Our hours will be extended from 7:30-5:00 on these dates, and if you have students in multiple grades, you can register all of them at once--you do not have to come back multiple days. Mark your calendars!
