Lady Lions Softball Jamboree is tomorrow at St. Elizabeth. The Lady Lions will play at 5 and 6:15. Admission is a canned food item that will be donated to a local food pantry.

Due to the roadwork on Hwy C, Julie's bus (#6) may be off schedule in the morning and afternoon by several minutes until construction is complete on that part of the highway.

The home baseball games scheduled for 8/29 & 9/2 are cancelled. Baseball will be in action on 9/3 @ Pilot Grove after the softball game at 5:00pm.

There will be a baseball parents meeting at 5:15 at the field tomorrow evening (Monday, 8/25).

Mrs. Wyrick started her monthly elementary science lessons. Today was all about Sammie, the Sulcata African tortoise 🐢. Thank you to Delaney and Fisher for bringing her to school to share with all the students.

Here is the bracket for the 21st Annual Humansville Softball Tournament on 8/29 & 8/30. The Lady Lions will play the first round of the tournament on Friday, 8/29 at 6:30pm at Weaubleau High School.

Another busy day for our THS students. We had a wide range of activities, including story time, putting together a square with different shapes, working on cutting skills, lab safety, math calculations, back to school story and computer room door not opening! Lots of good things happening in the building!

The Ag classes had a special guest today. Please say hello to Casper, the baby sheep. He loved all the attention he got today. Thank you Mrs. Rush for bringing him in. He is a keeper!

The Miller County R-III School District is looking for an evening custodian: Full-time, flexible hours between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.; $15/hour starting with insurance and retirement. This Wednesday is the monthly FFA meeting at 3:30 in the cafeteria. All FFA members need to attend these monthly meetings. Here is a flyer will all the scheduled dates for the school year.

We had a great first day today, and we appreciate all the cooperation from parents with drop-offs this morning. Our bus routes may run a few minutes early/late from normal pick up and drop off times for the first few days. We're still working out the best way to run the routes with several new stops, so we appreciate your patience. Please make sure students are ready for pick ups a few minutes early in the mornings until we get our timing worked out. James's route (usually bus 7, but it's bus 5 for the next couple of days) is being run by sub drivers this week, so we're doing the best we can to get our timing right, but it may be off a little more than usual. Thank you again for all of your patience with us as we get through this first week!
