Wow! You came through quickly on this one! We've had receipts submitted in excess of our allocation, but if we should receive any more funding for this, I will let you know. Thank you for your quick responses.
If you have had a student enrolled in the Miller County R-III district, and you have a paid receipt for dual credit classes dated between March 13, 2020, and September 30, 2023, you may be eligible for reimbursement for those classes. The state has a set amount of money available to our district for this, so it will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis in the order the receipts are submitted. Email or bring your receipts to Dr. Spencer at tspencer@tuscumbialions.k12.mo.us, and we will make application for these funds. You will be reimbursed when the state sends the funds to the district. Don't miss out on this one-time opportunity! Receipts must be submitted by Monday, April 15, 2024.

All students who are involved in MSHSAA activities are required by MSHSAA to be covered by insurance, and we have to have a policy number for that coverage. If you do not currently have insurance on your student, K & K provides a student accident policy for $30 per year that covers them during school hours and for school-sponsored activities. This only covers them in case of an accident--it is not comprehensive medical coverage--but if they are hurt during a school-sponsored event, it will cover them. There is also 24-hour coverage available for a slightly higher cost that covers them for accidents occurring outside of school.
